Aloha Oe Glenn Morgan

We went to Oahu for Glenn's memorial. I had some fried rice in the Lihue Airport snackbar.

We took bus 20 to our hotel, Hyatt Regency Waikiki.

While there was still light I snapped a picture of the skyline.

And then the sun set.

It was a touching memorial service. About 100 people came. The guy in the middle with the ukalele is the pastor, a former county lifeguard and Waikiki beach boy.

When we flew home I took a selfie of Kathy and tried to get a farewell to Oahu shot.

Valentines Couples Dance

We thought it would be fun to host a dance, so many couples just quit dancing.
I called all the DJs in the Yellow pages and the ones I could find using Google. No one returned my calls, so I bought a Bluetooth speaker from Crutchfield and made up a dancing playlist.

We set out lots of finger food, far more than you see on the table and came through with serving trays.

We had adult beverages, (in moderation), and I also made mint tea and lemonade.

There was more talking than dancing, but it was great to see people catch up.

Early supper with Jim Manico

Jim is now living the life I used to lead so it was great to have a chance to catch up with him. I brought a bottle of Washington State wine, (we didn't finish it), and got some food from Chicken and a Barrel. It was fun to hear how he is doing.

Just before the end of our time, a rainbow appeared out to sea.

Then I jumped on my trike, pedaled like the dickens and managed to pull into the garage just as the rain came.
